Onan 8.0 genset oil pan

I've got a Onan 8.0 DKD genset that works great, but the oil pan has rusted through. Any source for new oil pan? It has a Kubota D950 engine, but the oil pan I see with this engine on line appears to be too tall.
I've got a few ideas on how to replace in-place, but open to others if you've done this before.

Im going to ass-sume its tin and rusted at the bottom from outside in. Id look at other uses for that engine like highway light sets, lawn maintenance equipt, etc for a pan. Worst case buy the cheapest and take it to a welder & adapt it. And undercoat the bottom first before installing.
