Pad removal on bridge

Hi. I’m removing all my bridge cushions for the winter. I’m not having luck with the round pad. Anyone have advice for unzipping it? Do you leave that pad on and cover it?

When i do those, its usually velcro. Zippers possible but tough around corner.

This pad is specific to my Helmsman 38E. It has a zipper that is very difficult to access. It’s kind of tucked in. And the foam padding inside seems to have glue applied along the length of the joint. I’m looking for first hand suggestions on what other Helmsman owners do. But thanks anyway Sibernut.
