We leave our portholes open all the time now, no rain gets in and the boat stays ventilated. Highly recommend!

Oct 20, 2014 #3 D Diesel Ducker Member Joined Jun 10, 2014 Messages 10 Location Florida Find a plastic pot that fits neatly inside the port hole - use that pot as a mould, then make a FRP piece that fits and glue it into the port hole. Make several of them so that you can change them if they get damaged. The FRP can be painted to match the hull color.
