I believe I am getting rain water from the engine room access. There is at least 3/4” space where the rain can run down the fly bridge steps directly into the bilge trying to figure best way to divert it or keep it out. It is annoying because it ends up laying right between my motors.

I discovered the 2009 34T I purchased last fall has been getting rain water into the top right corner of the battery switch panel, apparently for some time, which has caused soft plywood in the bulkhead at the corner.
So, I feel the factory design is flawed by only providing a seal at the engine room opening.
Perhaps some closed cell foam weather strip around the top of stair-hatch might divert the rain cascading down the stairs.

Hope to hear how others have solved this problem.

A couple of photos would help us in recommending a potential fix.

Not at the boat now, but anyone with the 2005 and newer 34T should have the same issue.
Web photo below shows the stair with the last three steps folding aft to reveal the engine access and battery switch panel on the bulkhead directly below the steps above.
The trick would be to seal the vertical edge behind the third step without compromising the mating seal of the horizontal hatch below the folding steps.
