Ranger R27 Alternator

Hi there,

Has anyone worked on or replaced an alternator on a Ranger Tug R27?

My 2015 Volvo Penta D3-200 seemingly has little access to the ‘back side’ of the engine where the alternator is located. I was wondering if anyone has tips for working on it?

I tried finding an orangutan mechanic with really long arms but came up short so to speak.

There’s a few maintenance issues that seem to require a 4’ reach.
