Hello Friends,

Has anyone purchased a boat monitoring system that informs you through text alerts or messaging of high water and other issues? What was your experience and advice ? Thank You !!!

Yes, I have and installed a Siren system. It does both cellular and wifi. I chose to hard wire the bilge alarms. All of my sensors are hard wired. For me, it reduced costs, eliminated the need to change more batteries annually at all the sensors, and seemed more reliable eliminating any potential Bluetooth problems.

Thank you - I will look into that system.

Take a look at sensored life , by Marvell
Works great for temperature, water intrusion, and electricity. Had it 3 years, and cheap.

I have and like BRNKL. It monitors battery, bilge, shore power disconnect, geofencem temp, humidity plus a few more.. It is great while within cell service area and it has a monitoring fee.
I would very much like what I got with wifi/internet without monitoring fee. It can give an on demand still photo and I would like remote live view.

Open question to the forum. If you could get a cellular monitoring unit (web app and SMS alerts) for location, bilge pump, high water, ambient temp and maybe a couple of other monitoring functions AND you would have no recurring fee what would you consider a fair price $500, $750, $1,000 or $?? If you own a system now what was the cost to buy and what is your monthly cost? I am thinking about putting something out there.
