Renting a Grand Banks in Maine

Hi,

My wife and I have bareback chartered Grand Banks (and other trawler styles) in the San Juan's in Washington. Next summer we are interested in doing the same for 2 or 3 weeks in Maine. So far, we haven't found somewhere to charter in Maine (something akin to Washington State's NW Explorations or Anacortes Yacht Charters).

Anyone have any suggestions for place we might want to contact in Maine? We are interested in something similar to a classic GB 46.

Very early 1970's I lived in Rockport ME. Married in Camden [town next door]. Built and owned a tavern restaurant in Camden. Still have best friends in that area!

That would be Buck's Harbor Marina.


Unfortunately they have downsized their charter fleet to Boston Whalers.

Yeah, I think a bareback charter is a bit different, and possibly illegal....
