Rim route in Okeechobee

Does anyone know if the rim route is still passable from Clewiston to Port Mayaca? A captain friend of mine said a few years back it was starting to shoal.

The lake level is starting to get low. The rim route is shallower than the lake route. Qnly a little over 4 ft today on Route 2.

We ran the rim route last March and was reported @ 6’. We only bumped twice. Hobo draws just under 5’
