In the last three weeks we've been out for 12 days. We docked in Coupeville at midnight in 40-45mph winds (THE most challenging docking we've done in 5 plus years), got absolutely tossed and trashed off Partridge Point, Whidbey Island (THE worst 90 minute stretch we've ever endured in 5 plus years), and had 60mph winds in Anacortes (OK, we were in a slip but dang, we got rocked all day). We only had one day of "nice" conditions which was yesterday when we ran in flat clam and mostly sunny weather from Anacortes to Port Ludlow. After the previous 11 days, that 6.5 hour run was BEAUTIFUL! And, of course, whet our appetite for more...
Spring boating in the PNW. Gotta love it!
