Sea Water Pump for Danfoss / Polar Mate Refrigeration

Any thoughts / experience regarding which sea water pump for my Danfoss / Polar Mate refrigerator? Is the eighteen dollar Amazon flavor adequate or do I need the Four Hundred dollar flavor that Polar Mate recommends? Regarding water flow I would assume more is better up to a point? Currently using 1/2 inch hose with good results.
