Seastar don't produce oil, hi simply from prepack from big drum to small bottle.
also in USA iso vg 15 oil is cheaper ws EU.
ISO VG 15 High Viscosity Index (HVI) Hydraulic Oil
from 10$ gallon is nothing after open factory say 6 year /read 10 year but also in system you must every 800-1000 hour exchange oil

1/ you use ATF dextron + diesel


in boat hydraulics usually go iso VG 15 oil can work -40 to 3000C
or iso vg 22 in tropic.
this is cheap mineral oil,easy find order around world.

In other words atf mixed with diesel at 3:1 ratio is the answer for replacement hydraulic fluid for seastar systems. Seastar systems are unique and not the ordinary Hydraulic steering set up
