Not a pup, but a parrot

Our senior Min Pin passed away last fall after 11 years with us, but we still have our Blue Front Amazon Parrot named Sugar Lips to entertain and keep us company. She has taken to boat life quite well. She doesn't mind the easy going rocks that we get and makes sure that she gets a secure foothold when we tell her to "hang on" if we see a heavier wake heading towards us.

Our boy Razzo, an Italian Greyhound, went everywhere with us and would have loved our new boat.
He's been gone two years now .
We foster dogs in the winter and hope to adopt a boat dog someday soon.

Pictures 1 and 3 definitely show the tendency toward the Ragdoll flop. We've been to a couple of cat shows and Ragdolls and Maine Coons were always our two favorites. We had a friend who had a cat from a shelter that had every feature and characteristic of a Maine Coon, except the size. We called it a Mini-Maine Coon. Great cat.

Leave it to my wife to pick a scene from my favorite movie for her cat. Yes, quite the intellectual I am, that my favorite movie is Monsters, Inc.

I use to read where they talked about getting your pet a pet. Get a cat a parakeet. Isn't that dinner? Or an aquarium? I've seen those photos.
