Simrad 9537 autopilot

I have an opportunity to "acquire" a system on a doomed sailboat (30 ft Sabre). It has the drive behind the strg wheel. Since similar size/speed to my trawler, can I make it work ? Head is a 9537 Simrad. What other components would I have to remove to complete the install ?
I think it will interface with my Raymarine mfd, but even if it doesn't id be willing to use it as a stand alone AP. Price is RIGHT to make it worthwhile.

I suggest finding the installation manual. With that in hand you'll know all the components required. Simrad's web site is pretty good about keeping manuals for older gear. Don't just cut cables to make removal easy.

Tracked and removed EVERY wire coming from the Ray control st4000. NONE go to a Seatalk box or a compass. Am I missing these components to make it work ? Window to find them is closing..........
