I have finally succeeded in getting a boat under contract. Next big step is the survey. Need your help with any recommendations for certified surveyors in US Virgin Islands or BVI.

Also looking for diesel engine surveyor for Volvo Penta.

Vessel is a 46' power catamaran.

Thanks

In USVI don’t know. In BVI use either Nanny Key or Spanish Town. Both good yards. Call their offices and I think they will give you a list of contacts Used a surveyor when I was down there but in IGY Rodney Bay St.Lucia as he was SAMS and NAMS accredited. Note you list phoenix so assume you want to be US flagged and insured. That’s the problem. It isn’t finding good surveyors. It’s finding good surveyors who are accredited. I just needed one to satisfy my policy requirements (no claim involved). They still wanted either NAMS or SAMS ideally both.

Thanks for the tip. Yes, I am looking for a certified surveyor to satisfy insurance requirements.
