Day 13 - Complete!
...and we launched at 2:30pm, a day early. It was a rush, but we managed it.
Stern Thruster installed, tested, tunnel and props antifouled, and the new bow thruster props anti-fouled and installed as well.
She was lifted, anti-foul touched up where the struts had been, and gently placed in the water. Whilst held in the strops, we ran the engines up - they were fine, and running so sweet!
The spring tide was on the ebb, so we left as quickly as poss to catch the 3 hour window fr access to Beaucette marina - which we did.
Once moored up, we simply shut her down and went back to the appartment to a supper of local vedg and pork. The local vedg in Guernsey is so great. Growers leave bags or vedg at the ends of the their drives with an honesty box for paying!
Tomorrow, we'll clear and clean her up. Everything needs 'sorting'. But we'll be ready for a good season.
Hurrah!
