Hello all
I am new to this site.
I have plans for a 8 to 12 week trip next summer (much longer than usual) and was considering purchase of a outdoor portable propane freezer
Looking for feedback on makes/models and any experience with these?
Thanks

I have not even heard of a propane freezer (freezer only), but I am very familiar with duo (electric/propane) fridge with freezers used in RV's.
On my boat, I use, in addition to the regular 12V/120V fridge with small freezer, a Waeco portable unit. The Waeco can be run as either a fridge or as a freezer (we usually use it as freezer) on either 12 or 120 volts. It works well, and does not use a crazy amount of amp hours. They come in several sizes to meet many needs. We go out each year from mid June to September and usually don't have to buy much meat when we are out.
Good luck.
