used barnical buster to clean my oil cooler

I used barnical buster to flush and clean the oil cooler. worked really well. I used a small pump and flushed for about an hour and a half.

Congratulations on a great job. Circulation of the BB solution was essential to dissolve that much scale. Simply filling and letting it sit, would have done next to nothing.

How about your main cooler- sea water to engine coolant.

Curious on the build up - how long ago before the last cleaning? I have heard good things about BB and just curious - I have not tried it yet.

The other coolers seemed fine. I noticed this one starting to build up last year. I added a fresh water flush this season but didnt get to the flush operation until last sunday. The boat is a 2019 so this is the first flush.
