Thanks for the info and the warm wishes. Later this week we'll be near 50F and next week back to seasonal sub freezing temps.
I think you highlighted the significant difference in the MS 430 aft cabin is that you or the PO enhanced the support structure for the swim platform resulting in a defined weight it will bear.
I have a series of pictures and measurements that I plan to take to the NYC boat show and try to develop a solution for our particular situation.

Based on the limited editions of the Mainship 430 aft cabin trawlers - I think we should start our own thread if it doesn't already exist.
