My second boat is a 1996 Robalo 2140 Walk around that needs seals replaced in the head. No ID left on it but from research I think is a Jabsco manual pump because the parts look correct online. They don't publish dimensions so I can verify. Does anyone have any guidance on this?

SeRch for Head Mistress - or give it a couple days, inevitability she will chime in! Gotta love our Peggie!

No need to search or PM me...I've got this...:)

Can you post a photo of the toilet? That will tell me the make/model/approx. age.

If it's original, it's 24 years old...waaay past the average lifespan of any compact marine toilet...there have been enough refinements in it's design that no parts or even a "service kit" made today will fit it. If as you suspect it's a Jabsco, a new pump would only cost you about $15 more than a rebuild kit even if you could still get one that would.

But first, let's see what you actually have.

I will take a picture and send it tonight. Thanks everyone.

I did it yeah for me. Peggy once you see these let me know what I can do to fix it. Thanks to all you guys are great:socool:

UncleMat,
I can't tell age, but that is a Jabsco manual head. Mine in my previous boat, required taking apart the pump and greasing the "O" ring on the plunger periodically (few times per season) and replacing the duckbill. I yield to Peggy on best path from where you are now.

Yep, it's a Jabsco...too old for any parts made today to fit, time to give it decent burial.

If you're on a tight budget, I THINK a new pump will fit the bolt pattern on your base...you can compare 'em against the current ones here. Jabsco Twist 'n' Lock Manual Toilets

Or, if your budget can stand a bit biggers hit, you have a great excuse to upgrade to the top rated manual toilet Raritan PH SuperFlush or the pushbutton convenience of a macerating electric toilet Raritan SeaEra Conversion Promo Sheet (Don't let the list prices scare you...both are available at deep discounts if you know where to shop.)

You're welcome to give me a shout if you'd like to discuss in more detail than is practical in a forum.

Thanks for the help and guidance on this. Do you know where I can search for a new pump. I plan to sell this boat as soon as it is ready. I have just bought my new to me Sundownder 32 and I want keep and maintain only one boat.

Defender Marine (online and Waterford, Ct - 75 miles away) has the Jabsco Twist n Lock pump for $100. Maybe a chandlery closer that will match.
