Any one aware how the windows lock on the mainship 34 and I guess the MS 40. My windows have a plastic part attached to a window with a slot in it. Am I missing a part etc.

Our '08 34HT has a plastic "spring" that pops out in the closed position and blocks the window from sliding. To open you have to push it in, hold and slide the window.
Boats wrapped or I'd take a pic.

I must be missing the plastic spring. It must slide into the 2in plastic channel attached to the window. Send me a pic when you can

For a simple redneck approach you can always cut a wooden dowel or stick to lay in the track similar to a sliding door "lock"

You also have to make sure the other window is fully closed for the sliding window to connect via the slot.

That's what I did! Cheap and 100% effective.
