Thank you for reading my post. I have a KEY POWER BOW THRUSTER on my 34 foot CHB. When I initiate power to port, I have plenty of power from the bow thruster. However, when I initiate power to starboard, the bow thruster is very weak and probably produces about one third of the thrust that the Port position creates.
Does anyone have a clue as to what this could be? Possibly an electrical issue?
Thanks for your comments,
Johnny

Welcome aboard. It could be the relay that supplies power to that side has dirty or burned contacts. Measure the voltage at the motor on both sides when the thruster is activated and see if one side has lower voltage than the other. If so then check all connections and look at the contacts.
