Anyone know how BUC values are determined? Are they complied from actual sales data? Dying to know!

I believe that they are posted by member brokers based on actual sales.

Except there is no way to tell the real sales price. Dealer of XYZ boat brand may just report a different number of the sales price than what the real number just to keep the value on his brand up. Not unheard of.
