I am wondering if any of you are having this issue on yachtworld?

When I search for used Fleming yachts in the USA on yachtworld the search comes up zero. I know this is incorrect. There are 12 used Flemings for sale in the USA. However if I search worldwide for used Flemings, they do come up in Europe. The only Flemings that show up in the USA are the new builds.

I have tried searching for used Flemings on six different pc’s and I-phones as well as 6 different networks. So I know this is not an issue with my pc.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Cheers

The YachtWorkd site does not clear form information from your last query. So it could be there is a field selected that is messing up your search. Maybe you have new selected instead of all. Or maybe you have used the advanced search and put in a geographical location.

I just ran that search and plenty of US boats came up. Maybe open the advanced search window and check that everything is cleared and try again.

Thanks Menzie.

However I have tried as I said. I have used other pc's (Friends) that have never been on yactworld. I have tried advanced search. I have even use just general search and went through all the pages. These pc's were on different networks as well.

I never had this kind on an issue before. I have some of the links to the used Fleming I have been watching bookmark and even those links do not work.

I just find it odd that I cannot bring up any of the used Flemings in the USA on different networks as well as different pc's in my city, but you can where you are at.

Anyways. I will see if I can bring up your link to see if it works for me.

Thanks agian. I will let you known if the link works for me.

Cheers.

The OP is correct. If you search for Fleming’s in the US nothing comes up.

Menzies.

Your link only brought up the New builds in the USA and all the Europe used Fleming for me. NOT the used Fleming in the USA. Burr yachts have 8 used Fleming for sale on their site but thet are not coming up on Yachtworld like the did before.

Odd! Really odd.

Thank though.

Cheers

Mikala.

I take it you are having the same issue as I am?

I simply cannot believe yatchworld would block used Fleming for sale in the USA.

I can't get a single Fleming to show up searching under that keyword. I do, however, get boat listings in Fleming Island, FL.

I think Yachtworld's search filters are f*ing garbage...

Same issue on Boats.com, although I believe they share the same database. I doubt the problem is with YW. I would point a finger at Fleming first.

IF Fleming is actively supressing used boat classified's, would that mean that those were trade-ins and they want to move their new and build inventory first? I'm not sure I would agree with that strategy, but if they technically owned all of the used inventory not listed, it is their call I guess...

I did find the one in the US, a 2018 with 400 hours on it. The only other used ones are in Canada or overseas.

I get the same thing.

Flybull.

That is cool, however both vessels are ore out of the USA. I have been watching Fleming yacht sales for years because I am in the market for one.
I have never (in that time) had this issue.

In do know it is not an issue between the brokers selling used Fleming and yacht world.
becuase Burr yachts new builds come up as well as the west coast broker for Fleming.

Its just the used Fleming in the USA that do not show up. It started 4 days ago.

Cheers

Sorry about that... I saw "Hampshire" and my brain with only one cup of coffee this morning went to "New Hampshire"... :banghead::banghead:

I do not believe the brokers are blocking the used Fleming. Chuck Hovey and Burr yachts are the two Fleming dealers in the USA.

Both website have used Fleming for sale on them so why would not want to push them?

Also at any given time you may only find 10 to 15 used Fleming for sale in the USA I have seen it low as 5. There are not that many used Flemings for sale in the USA so they would push them. Plus the cheapest new build is a Fleming 55. the base price starts at 1.8 mil. so that would be a every small base of people buying them.

In 30 plus years only 240 or so Fleming 55s have been build. that is a small number in the vessel building market.

Cheers.

They're certainly impressive boats... would love to see one first hand.

Unfortunately, they're completely out of my reach used or otherwise. Good luck with your search!

Fleming dealers Chuck Hovey on the US west coast and Burr Yacht Sales on the east coast have many Flemings listed. Many boat sellers have given up on Yachtworld listings given the ease at which their own websites can be updated and managed. Plus, the ability to control the process better than a third party.

You are right Flybull. They are an impressive vessel. I have been on 3. F-55, F-65 and F-75. That is why I want one and I am going to get one. The question is which one?

That is why I search for them and it is a pain in the hump not having yachtworld work right!

It appears there’s more to it than that. Google searches, usually quite productive, are coming up dry whereas they usually point to brokers with Fleming inventory. The usual suspects (Luke Brown, Bradford, et al) have nothing listed on their sites.

Sunchaser.

I believe you may have hit on something there. It does make sense. I think my next step is to contact Burr yacht to see if that is the case.

Great input thanks.

Yatco.com shows some used US listings. Very cumbersome to navigate and filter though. https://www.yatco.com/buy-a-yacht/a...achts/country-united_states/viewtype-gallery/

It appears all of the listings point to Burr.

Mikala.

Thanks for the link. One thing I notes. Yatco is an Europe company. Yes they are showing some used Fleming for sale in the USA but not all. With them being a Europe company and with Yachtworld showing only used Fleming in Europe, I can see how some one like me would be driven to their website. However I would not be driven to a Burr yacht sale website for a used Fleming.

That's odd in it's self.

Thank for the link.

Cheers.

You just need to Google the right keywords.

Duh. The point of the thread is Fleming’s were very easy to locate days ago...and now they’ve disappeared.

Burr and Hovey were not the only sources of used Fleming’s a week ago.

That is a good point as well.

I talked with reps from Luke Brown before on a couple of Vessels. The vessel were handle by a differnet broker. One rep from luke Brown told me they get most of their listing off of Yachtworld and post them on their site. So that is why the Used Flemings in the USA are not showing up on Luke Brown. Most of them are from Burr yachts.

My main question now is this. Why does only the Europe yacht Broker company show up with used Flemings and not any of of the USA Yacht Brokers companies?

Odd. Does anyone know where Yachtworld is base out of? It is Europe or the USA?

That would tell me a great deal.

Cheers

You are right, Internet minutiae is devilish. Remembering of course market 101 is at play.

I was at Burr when they were prepping for Dorian and there were several for sale. I have to think there's a technical issue at YW or Burr took them down short term for some reason.

I teased the guy at Burr that they control the prices with an iron fist and they never seem to go down, maybe they are trying to stimulate demand!

One other point to this issue reguarding the used Fleming not coming up on Yachtworld in the USA.

I can search for used Marlows, KK, OR, GB, Nordys and any otherr kind of vessel I want and they come up in the USA. However none for the used Fleming in the USA.

That would point to an issue between the Fleming Dealers in the UAS and Yachtworld. However if that were the case. The New build for those dealers in the USA should not show up (because the companies are at odds) but they do.

This is a head knocker that is for sure.

Cheers.
