I know I am not the first to remodel the aft cabin and put a full size berth athwartship. I found 2 examples this week on Yachtworld. I may, however, be the only one to put in an adjustable bed. The head and knees go up and down. When Mother comes to visit, she cannot sleep laying down, so I retreat to the v berth and she gets a good night's sleep. It's wifi enabled too, so I can sit her up from my phone if the snoring gets too loud
The washer/dryer is vented outside via the locker next to it. The relocated dresser is on wheels with hardware securing it in place, but allowing access to shelving behind it. The steps are on casters and the headboard can fold down. I did not reduce the size of the drawers under the berth, so they cannot be removed. The other two drawers were cut down to fit in the galley under the replaced stove. I will post the galley refit another day.
I hope someone finds this interesting. If so, I can take more pics to post. Waiting on new curtains that are not so LOUD. lol
