I bought a 1990 Californian 52 back in January of '23. I am currently a live aboard in Ventura Harbor. Any suggestions, hints or recommendations are always welcome.

Welcome! Suggestion for best results on the forum: People here love to help but there are ways to optimize the value for everyone.
1) tell us a little about your boating experience, where you are located, etc. This is a forum of real people and sometimes connections are made in person.
2) As you have questions: first do a search to see what has possibly been well covered in prior threads. If you then still need info fire away but provide as much detail as possible.
3) share your experiences as a new owner. You too can add a lot of value.
4) Avoid politics or ask about what is the best anchor
