Greetings from South Bristol in mid-coast Maine.

I am originally from Essex on the Connecticut River, growing up there when it was indeed a sleepy little village. Now it is a beautiful destination spot, but not a town where you can get groceries, hardware, clothes etc all on Main St.

Anyway, I lived in the area for the first 63 years of my life, and upon retirement, my wife and I moved up here. Most of my boating time was spent cruising in sailboats, but up here we went with a Downeastg hull, a Jarvis Newman 32, finished for cruising by Concordia.

Have always loved the water at a slow pace and enjoy staying in off the beaten path for the night.

Looking forward to the knowledge I will gain here.

Carl

Welcome aboard.
Fine looking downeast design. Love the sheer.
Fond of the Concordia sailboats. Distinctive star and moon cove stripe.

Do you have pics of the innerad and ER?
Do you have sliding panels to close off the pilot house area depending upon the weather?
