So someone on here said that they could build a boat out of the black plastic PE100 sheets I used for my rubrails. I said there was a guy doing just that near me and here it is. View attachment 94812

Thanks for photo that’s a cat love to know more if you could PM me any more info (so as not t diverse with your thread, your call) Inboard/Outboards.
Looks like something one my mates over there might attempt. its not at Mangles Bay Fishing Club ?
Yes I thinking could a boat be built from HDPE ? well yes it can but will it work ?. I think so ? Survive long ? Plastic will what about the welds ? Not a boat for wine rack and champagne glasses.

British made I think this company concentrates on commercial work boat type.

Solstice looking good Mat now with a good omen.

As always - SOLSTICE is looking fine!

Well I have to tell ya, my previous fiberglass boat that was popped out of a mold was no where near that beautiful after 3 coats of wax. Amazing work!

Working all this time working on the boat, I am surprised you find time enough to eat.
Best of luck.

Time to remind all of us with a picture what you started with. It will really impress all the newbies. You started about 3 years ago?
