Thanks for allowing me to join your group. My wife and I are just beginning to explore trawlers. I retired in 2019 and she will retire July 1, 2024 so we are going to use the time before her retirement to research the boats and the viability of buying and living, at least part time, on one. I've owned several sailboats, but it has been 30 years since we were on the water. Looking forward to using the knowledge on this forum to help us out.

Welcome aboard. I would be looking to buy now if you want to start cruising next July. That way you will have time to get the boat up to snuff and ready to cruise. I see boats that people list as cruise ready that are crap. Good luck in your search.
