I lost one of my main engine's stainless steel strainer basket and am having difficulty finding a replacement. We have a 2005 DeFever 49' (44+5) CPMY equipped with Perkin Sabre M135's. The strainer appears not to be a Groco strainer. It has the initial YR on top of the cap.

Any suggestions would be most welcomed!

PS - Please do not ask how I lost it. Let's just say recovery was thwarted by the possibility of drowning.

Just take the remaining strainer to a S.S. fabrication shop. They will tack you one together in 20 minutes. Should be a reasonable price.

Have you contacted Groco? I have found them to be bery helpful.

Photos attached ... belated.

Thanks for your time and consideration

I misread your first post and thought you said it was a Groco strainer. I have never seen the brand in the photo. You might have to look at all the brands you can find and see if anyone has something close.

Robert, what’s the diameter. I may have something close.

Thanks, all. I appreciate your help. Due to time constraints, I replaced the entire assembly ... with a Groco.
