Onan Gen Parts

I need a part associated with an Onan Gen muffler.

I am not finding it on the web pages at the usual places I shop.

A general web search is producing a lot of RV results, but not boating.

Any recs for on line websites for Onan muffler parts?

What part is it? If the old steel muffler, most just replace the whole thing with a modern fiberglass unit. If plumbing parts, the old steel units just used NPT fittings, easily available.

Not sure if they'll have exhaust parts or not but on our previous boat we had a mid 80's Onan genset (3k) and our local Cummins dealer's parts guy found pretty much any part I needed.
Might try that?

Cummins has dropped support for some Onans. If you're unlucky enough to own one of those try onanparts.com or https://www.jackssmallengines.com/

If you have a parts manual it's much easier. Sometimes the manuals and the parts can be found on eBay.

With a good part number you can enter that in Google. Used parts turn up in interesting places.

If Cummins supported the Onan for a while, even if it's now no longer supported, a good Cummins parts dept can give you the Cummins part #.

It takes perservance to keep an old Onan running.
