I’m just finishing up my solar install and have been thinking, how have you all been setting your abs/float voltages, tail current, etc…
I’ve got three different sources now. Inverter/charger when on shore power or generator, balmar alternator/regulator for motoring, and now 770 watts of solar with Victron controllers. Everything is programmable, and right now they’re all essentially programmed the same.
I have the charge parameters from fullriver and have those programmed in. But with the addition of the solar I will have two sources at the same time fairly often. So are there any little tricks you use to make things more efficient?
House bank is 1125 ah agm, new this year. I’d like to be sure I’ve got things set so I get maximum life span out of them.
