Does anyone have any experience with United Marine Underwriters insurance?

In particular, anyone have any experience filing a claim with them?

Everyone would prefer a lower insurance rate, but if they don't pay claims, it's not worth the paper it's printed on.

Bumping this to see if anyone might have experience with United Marine Underwriters.

I was planning to go with American Modern, but I can't get the broker to return my calls. If they won't return calls when I'm trying to buy a policy from them, it makes me concerned how responsive they will be if I actually had to file a claim...

I have used united marine the last three years. real good service with standard markets. my policy is thru chubb . i will renew again with them in june 24

You're in New England, and they have an office in Mystic. Marine Insurance Agency and all they represent are Marine Insurance Companies for the most part.

Very responsive. Everyone I send their ends up with a policy they're happy with.
