Cool! Well, just bring her on down to the Florida Keys, then, which I have always used as the jumping off place for the Yucatan. Of course, I had a sailboat back then, so didn't worry about the weather that much. But even with a trawler, which rolls a lot more (or at least mine does, anyway -- you have a much larger boat), a dash over to Cuba, then west to Cabo San Antonio on the west end of Cuba, wait for a good forecast, and then on over to Isla Mujeres, should be pretty easy. I envy you the trip!
