Hey Guys ....79 CHB Trawler 35 ft. Having issues with my DC power after putting in new batteries awhile ago and believe this is part of issue. On bottom of this terminal this 'mechanism' was attached...I noticed it had burned thru the plastic covering. Brought to a local dealer who worked on these CHBs in the 80s and he could not identify. Anyone know exactly what this is? Suitable replacement?Let me know if want extra pics. Would appreciate any info. Thanks

I seriously doubt the buzzer is causing a problem with you dc supply.
Maybe explain the trouble you’re having?

Maybe I’m missing something, but it doesn’t look there are any wires connected to the buzzer. It looks like it was disconnected long ago, probably after it burned out.

There were three wires connected to the buzzer on bottom of terminal where I am holding the buzzer showing where I detached it from. I disconnected the wires.

It probably isn't causing a problem..was wondering at first, what it exactly was. And hoping to find a replacement. DC issues are the bigger problem I'm having...after tossing out old batts and replacing with new...didn't document wiring prior to discord connecting old batts. Got new batts wired up good now ..but not getting any DC power to appliances. Gotta leave boat again in morning and head back out of state, so will have to continue thread when back down here for good.
Thanks everyone for input
