thanks.. We are lucky Ocean village is at the head of the solent so the Hamble river , Beaulieu , Cowes etc are very close. We are going to move to Shamrock Quay .Just a bit up the river (named after the sailing "J" Boat Shamrock made there.) for the summer as all a bit more relaxed . Shamrock marina is the UK head office for Fleming yachts so we have good company and much "boatporn" as my missis calls it moored there.

Our 'official' port is Kingston, Ontario, Canada but we keep "Delia Rosa" at Lake Breeze Marina at Point Breeze in New York State. It is a great spot as we are just at the mouth of the Oak Orchard River which provides several miles of winding water to kayak in and we are only a couple of minutes away from cruising on Lake Ontario.

We just moved to a new (to us) marina in Oriental NC, Pecan Grove. Here are some pictures from our first days!! Oriental is on the ICW right off the Pamlico Sound on the Neuse River. We have many many awesome anchorages and great destinations like Cape Lookout, Ocracoke, Beaufort and Morehead City NC. We'd rather be in the Bahamas for sure, but this doesn't suck too much!

My home port is in Springdale Newfoundland. I was lucky to purchase a wharf attached to a property with a house on it and a slipway to pull my boat up during the off season. The wharf is about 70' long so I can park a couple of boats there and I have a plan ( dream ) of putting a Cafe on the property so that boats my size can pull up. It all needs some work but that will come.

In the forth picture is my brother-in-laws boat with mine behind.
In the fifth and sixth picture is the house Land view and Ocean view with the garage.

My current home port is Bataan, Philippines. It’s a good jumping off point. We have a strong monsoon season so boats have to be hardy if one wants to use it on demand. I try to get out about every other month with a normal trip being around 600 miles. I use these trips to provide free logistical support to organizations with educational, scientific, environmental, and medical interests, operating in remote Island and coastal communities

Our new home port is LaConner WA but we've been in Thorne Bay AK for almost all the time I've been on TF (since 07).
The first pic was taken by a friend that takes wonderful pictures. In the second you can see Willy just above the dark clump of trees, center float close to the ramp. Typical Thorne Bay weather considering both pics. Some sun, some light wind and some rain.

We are off Folly Point in Middle Harbour which is apart of Sydney Harbour which is in Australia. Hopefully I have been able to attach a photo taken from the boat yesterday and another this morning in Blackwattle Bay near the Fish markets in the centre of the city as we have cruised around here as a part of a week exploring the harbour.[/PHP]

I just learned the other week that the state of TN is going to use one of my photos of the river in a display at some of the state visitor centers on the interstates as well:

Hi there ! Quebec city is the home port of Cap Trinite. The marina is located in the historical part of the city. The nicest feature is the "Moulin a images". Here some pics and welcome to everyone !

Found this video on You Tube showing where we live.. Our place is at Island Rock Cove ( 6.28 -6.32 min into the taping ). Just off my dock is where the new Marina is going i.e. from the island rock ( 6:35min ) to the shore.

In the process of moving from Saturna Island, BC -- guess I'll need a new username -- to Campbell River on Vancouver Island. CR, once known as the Salmon Fishing Capital of the World, is the gateway to the Discovery Islands/Desolation Sound/Mainland Fjords/Johnstone Straight. Will be retired so hope to do a lot more boating in the region.

We hail from Port Moody, BC. Our boat is moored at Reed Point Marina. Port Moody is basically part of the metro Vancouver area. Vancouver is an amazing and diverse location, with a lot of natural beauty surrounding it. Many people in Vancouver are even unaware of some of it. The pictures below are from "Indian Arm"....the first pic is my boat at it's marina slip. Indian Arm is the Southern most Fiord in North America. My yacht club has an outstation at the end of the arm. This location is a mere 12nm from my marina:

On May 6 I will move onto my Marine Trader 36, currently in Brunswick, GA. On the 13th (weather gods permitting) I will head north on the great loop. If all goes well, I will be on the move for three years or so.

Our home port is Vienna / Austria, but Dodo is berthed in Leeuwarden / Netherlands.
The Marina itself is not very cosy, but a perfect place for the boat. When we are on board, we are cruising, so it is ok.
We have only a few miles to the Wadden Sea (North Sea) with its beautiful islands. The Wadden Sea is a World Haritage Site. If the weather is bad, we cruise the inland waterways in the Netherlands and Germany and visit cities like Amsterdam and lovely old villages. We are also near the Baltic Sea, which offers endless cruising destinations.

We were in Van a few days ago. Ate at a Korean restaurant on Denman Pl. Then went across the street to the desert place. Vancouver is such a worldly and wonderful place. I taught school there at John Oliver in the early 70s.
Ran my OB cruiser up Indian Arm then and anchored in beautiful weather. Heard lot and lots of "circling the wagons" Indian noises and many years later found out they were shooting a movie up there.
Moorage rates still very high?
