So far we have used the chillers for heating. Since we'll be cruising more in cold regions in the future, we need a real heater for winter that requires less 230V electricity.

We have a CruisAir installation on board consisting of two TWC36CK-TWLC chillers and 7 fan coils. The TWLC central unit displays the option of an external auxiliary heater.
We are now planning to have a Webasto Thermo Top Pro 150 installed, including the circulation pump that comes with it. Of course integrated into the existing chiller circulation system.
We intend to activate and deactivate the heater via the TWLC central unit. Of course, neither the seawater pump nor the chiller circulation pump should be activated.
The heat should be distributed via the existing fan coils.

Has anyone had any experience with doing something like this?

There are many chilled water systems that use a separate heater for hydronic heat. You may need some 230v to operate the chiller panel, cabin thermostats, and if the system has zones there may be solenoid valves to be operated. It may be all built into your chiller system.
I'm in the US and use 24v AC for my thermostats. Everything else runs on 12v or AC via an inverter.
