I would not touch it with force. Take a hacksaw and time and cut a couple of longitude slots in the cutlass and it will pop out with out any more damage. Freeze the new cutlass overnight drop lather in liquid soap and pop it in. Hardly any force will be required...

They are 3208 NA's (Naturally aspirated) Max 210hp, so consumptions is not bad and the tankage gives transatlantic range etc. Probably burning around 7 galls an hour at 1800rpm.Producing 66hp at that speed.

Pull the injectors to make sure its not waterlocked etc.

The only hatches I would be aware of are the escape hatches normally fitted on the inboard side of each hull. They are normally extremely strong and durable. I might add that Ive done a few ocean passages on Cats etc . A well sailed cat would eat those conditions.

Like Rmason I rebuilt mine a few times with a leak from the shaft. In the end I bought cheap boxes of seals from HBR freight. Measured my shaft (miniscule wear and fiteed slightly larger seals and leak s topped. Cannot remember if i used imperial instead of metric or vice versa.

Definelty got junk in the tank, But the pinholes / galvanic corrosion is another problem. Was the tank grounded?

I've done the bulk routine I think the minimum was 200Galls. Cheaper than the stations, the problem has been access to the boat. trying to find a dock they can pump too. They normally have a substantial length hose 100ft or so. last time he came and fueled two of us.
