David a word of caution on tying off in the lock. We allways wrap the line around the cleat once and hold the end. Those ballards have been known to stick. Nice to be ready to let it fly at a moments notice.

You come right through the mountains via the Grand Canyon of the Tennessee. When you come out, you are right at the foot of Lookout Mountain. Awesome trip

The reason I'm goin is I've been there before from the little Grand Canyon threw the little Tennessee to Knoxville I've travel all over east of the Mississippi from Michigan to Florida. This is by far the most beautiful trip of all by.Never knew you could get there by boat. It's mountains.
David, when do you expect to be in Chattanooga? I am at Chicamauga marina, dock C and will be there all weekend until Sunday. I would love to hear of you trip, we are planning the same the other way. realy need salt again. Guess I miss washing the boat before and after ever trip
