The standard foldout table takes up too much room in the center of the salon. We have disconnected the center post from the floor and turned the table 90 degrees which is ok but far from ideal. What have other Manatees done to make it more useable?
TIA
PAUL

Make a new smaller tabletop. Then you can switch out the table as needed.

My Manatee had a table that folded twice to make it more compact. When opened fully, it could be lowered to make a queen sized bed platform (I had an inflatable mattress). Do you have this version? I'm not sure I would get rid of that if you do (resale purposes).

The previous owners of our Manatee had the standard table and bench seats removed and replaced with a sofa that folds out into a double bed.
While this also removes some of the bench seat storage space, the sofa has a fair amount in chase lounge end that makes up for it.

The folding table and chairs give us a lot of flexibility in moving things depending upon how many guests or the event we may be hosting.

Hopefully the photos will give you some fresh ideas.

This arrangement has worked out very well. Many thanks to the crew of Karma for sharing her with us.
