Maybe but we will need more information as to what you want to accomplish. Maybe add a photo of the area.

Unfortunately I m quite a ways from the boat to take pics.I just need a way a bigger guy can move around the engines and bilge area .the hatch that's there is not made for the average old guy.

I completely understand your pain. I am a big old guy with a lot of back issues. I am sitting with ice on my back right now. Unfortunately without some photos I can’t make any recommendations. But take a bunch of photos of the area, the current support for the hatch that is there and any other photos you can get. Then we can probably help with some ideas on how you can proceed.
