I have a 1978 34ft CHB Tri-cabin Trawler with a single Ford Lehman 120 engine and a Side Power bow thruster. How many zincs are there (or should there be) on this boat and where are they? From above the water, I can see one slab on the stern under the swim deck and one disc on the rudder. Where are the others on the bottom, and how many pencil zincs are in the engine?

Also, does anyone have a hull plan (mechanical drawing) for this boat? I need to determine block placement and height when we go up on our haulout rail.

I have one on the stern and one on the rudder and one pencil zinc in the heat exchanger. I believe you should have one for the bow thruster also.

Greetings,

My F/L 120hp has an anode in the heat exchanger, engine oil cooler & gear oil cooler.
Hull has 1 divers dream plate anode on stern.
Prop shaft has 1 shaft anode between stern tube & prop.
Prop has 1 prop nut anode.
Rudder has 1 rudder anode.
Hope this helps.

Get an electician to do a zinc balancing measurement. Often boats are OVER zinked.
