Currently in my search for a 31-35 foot trawler. Plan to cruise the Chesapeake for a few years then head out on the great loop.

We have a 1979 34' Mainship trawler that we have refurbished. We'[[ be cruising on it till August and will put it up for sale. Great cruising boat, lots of upgrades.

I like Mainship 34's, but it won't fit in my slip unless it's less than 12' beam and 3.5 draft. I know the newer ones are 14' beam. Not sure about '79.

I'll have to check, but I think it's 11'11" beam and I've always figured 4'draft.
