Hi,
I saw some pad paper is placed on the bench for doing fiberglass. Does it require a special type of paper, or any paper will do, say, newspaper?

Never heard of pad paper before. I use plastic, cut up a trash bag or buy rolls of film. I'd not use wax paper, just don't like the idea of wax anything near my epoxy. I've heard that parchment paper works well.

Thanks. it's good to know that a trash bag also works.

Wax paper, shrink wrap plastic, heavy duty plastic trash bags, or silicone baking mats all work for doing stuff with Epoxy. Epoxy doesn't stick to any of those materials when it cures, so you can set a piece on it while wet and it won't stick.

It will stick to anything you don't want it to.
My body shop guys used a car glass for Bondo. Cleans off 100%

Don't forget the freezer trick on big batches
Thanks for the idea.
this job is to brush a small piece of wood, say 1' x 1', a squeegee or brush is enough. i have 4 oz TotalBoat epoxy resin, it should be enough
