Ok Mate. Seeing as you’re a man of definition, you care to explain what your understanding of these three sayings that I use are hahaha.

1.) Pulling the piss
2.) Weak as piss
3.) Take the piss

Don’t cheat with google either lol

No pissie cheaten here - LOL

1. If you add "er" onto the word piss... That's fun your wife could do for ya!
2. Drippy with no substance - we use that here too
3. When getting stern taking to by a superior of some sort

Way I look at it: Always better to get pissed off rather than pissed on!

They are all around having a laugh with someone and teasing them.

Tank emptied and ready for welding by the fab boys from work tomorrow morning. By the looks of the diesel level markings on the IBC, the tank in the boat is about 900L which should run it for a while I would suspect.

I see that but I mean clear as in not full of debris or growth.

Taping up the roof brow and getting it ready for painting in a few days

Mr. plastic man... give her some vents to breath... at location and in current weather conditions... any condensation a problem?

I'm not clear on bolted frame apparatus at bow in last photo??

Post 5080, looks like a man lift hand rail.

Popped down to the boat after work to see how the painter went and I’m proud to say my girl has a toupee ... all that’s left is to paint the framework on the rear door and a strip around the top of the side windows in gloss black then whack on some mirror tint to the sides windows and the external will be 90% complete.

I applied butyl tape and fitted one of laser cut stainless steel name plates that my very good friend Peter gave me for my birthday last year. I am very pleased with the location of it. I’ve fitted the Portside and will do the starboard side later on. I’ve been hanging out to fit them ever since getting them. Thanks again mate. They were a very thoughtful gift..!!

Once I fitted that I moved on and fitting the cockpit handrails then moved in and continued cutting out some of the topsides for access to fit the backing blocks on the Portside bowrail. I did that and then glued in some ally backing blocks.

Tomorrow I should be ready to bolt the bowrail off.

I’m Really happy with how it’s coming along.

Name boards are fantastic! I too thank Peter for those additions... Perfect! :thumb:

Also, I like your underdeck backing plates with torpedo bolts for stanchions to railings.

I like the name plates. I just can't get over how shiny that paintwork is!

Mixed bag at the boat today. Got the roof supports in then found out the transom cap rail hinged back and hit the support post. That’s ok tho. I just unscrewed the hinges and cut a 45° chamfer so both sides of the opening matched. Little bit of a set back but I get it sorted.

You take the trophy for: "On-Site" Engineering!

Alongside the trophy for not planning ahead and doing things twice hahaha
From what I have seen, you've had to do very little backtracking and rework on your build. I've seen some pro builders redo the same things several times before getting it right. I've seen new boats go back into the shop for repairs because the builder didn't do something right. This little snafu is nothing. You got it cover like a blanket. :thumb:

Special occasion with the fitting of the name plates to the boat completed by the admiral. After that a bit of jotafair on the topside rail that I cut yesterday then home for beers.
